Garrett Josemans went from scientist to model in the space of a few months. He found his love in Taylor on Love is Blind, and quickly had a major glow-up in the world of fashion.
Fish, fitness, fashion and food are Love is Blind star Garrett’s top four favorite passions. The Netflix cast member literally got one haircut and now spends most of his weekends eyeing up the catwalk.
Garrett once walked for Fashion Week
Garrett had a major glow-up after he cut his hair, and it wasn’t long before he was asked to do the catwalk at New York Fashion Week. He represented Stan Clothing in September for NYFW Men’s Day.
The designer, Tristan, personally asked Garrett to join him in New York for the iconic event and model his new deadstock collection, which is when the Netflix “jumped on the opportunity”.
He was drawn in with the brand’s concept of upcycling older fabrics from all over the globe, with rich history. A fan said, “This is what dating a hot fashionable woman can do to you. Taylor is a god.”
He has a ‘latent interest’ for fashion
Garrett has always had a “latent interest for fashion,” as revealed at the Love is Blind season 7 reunion. He thanks Taylor, his new wife, for stepping up his game when it came to style.
“Being married to a very fashionable and beautiful woman, I finally found someone worth looking good for,” he says. “She opened up that door for me.” They even wore coordinated outfits…
Since their nuptials, they’ve traveled the world together, taken a stab at a bicoastal married life, and ultimately decided to start their next chapter back in DC, a city that “seemed like the next natural fit.”
LIB star’s outfit deemed ‘ridiculous’
Although Garrett has the fashion approval from designers and his wife, not all fans are on board. Many compared his outfit to the likes of Elton John or Adam Sandler’s Don’t Mess With The Zohan outfit.
One fan wrote, “He looked like his jacket was cut from curtains at Caesar’s Palace and she looked like a shinny baked potato,” while a Reddit user penned, “Was it Elton John or Austin Powers?”
A viewer said, “I thought his outfit and gold necklace was not a good look.” Yet some noticed his confidence and reacted, “I thought Garrett’s glow up looked a bit ridiculous but he’s feeling himself.”
