Josh Altman’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles exit

It’s officially the end of an era for the Altmans. After 13 years and 11 seasons on MDLLA, Josh and Heather are bowing out from the Bravo show.

News of the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh’s departure comes following lots of on-screen drama during season 15.

But, the star notes that his exit has “nothing to do with relationships on the show,” per an interview with People.

Fans take to Reddit this fall to share how they’re “sad” upon hearing Josh is leaving and more say they’ll “miss” him.

He and Heather broke the news to the world via an Instagram post where they “thank so many people” for “joining them for the ride.”

They write: “Time to start a new chapter in life and spend more time with the family.”

Decision has everything to do with family

As Josh details how his departure from the show didn’t come down to tensions between himself and co-star Flagg, he explains why the “time is right” to leave now.

Josh says the decision was “very tough and bittersweet,” adding how “final call was only made in the last few weeks.”

What it really boils down to is that Josh has a young family. He sums the departure up in four words: “…the time is right…”

It’s no secret that he and Heather’s busy work schedules were taking a toll on their marriage, the scenes are clear to see on MDLLA season 15.

“Since season 15 aired, and now that we’re on a pause, Heather and I have had some real quality time with the kids…” he says.

The real estate boss adds: “We’re just at that point in our lives where our family comes first and our kids are growing up so fast. We just have to cherish every moment and take it in.”

He says it’s the “closing of a chapter,” adding: “My wife’s been on that show since she was 20 years old. I’ve been on that show since I was almost a new real estate agent. We are different people than when we started the show. We were babies when we started the show.”

Josh and Heather are parents to Ace Altman, 5, and Lexi Altman, 7.
