As former RHOBH star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, 43, shares details of her divorce with the world, her husband, Edwin Arroyave, 47, also takes to social media this fall. Teddi announced on November 2 that she has filed for divorce from Edwin. Now, he speaks of “dark days, true character” and getting “three hours’ sleep.”
Although Teddi and Edwin are The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alums, the two have remained in the spotlight with Teddi returning to the show as a guest. Edwin’s also been keeping himself busy, co-hosting The Eds podcast with Eddie Judge. Teddi, as many of her fans will know, is also one-half of Two Ts In A Pod podcast with Eddie’s wife, Tamra Judge.
Edwin Arroyave talks ‘dark days’
Following Teddi’s social media post detailing how she’s filed for divorce, her husband, Edwin is taking to his Instagram Stories.
He first shares a screenshot showing sleep analysis along with the caption: “Finally got some rest!”
Edwin explains how he recently shared how he’d only been getting “three hours of sleep a night,” but his new stats display he managed to get over nine hours.
The former RHOBH star goes on to share some words of wisdom with his followers. Captioning a selfie, Edwin writes: “You’re not always going to be motivated or inspired. That’s where rituals and habits come in. Having good habits is what will get you through your dark days. It’s when you’re under pressure that your true character is revealed.”
He also shared an IG post in recent days explaining how he doesn’t work out for “vanity” but “for sanity.”
The Bravo show alum’s following Stories see him spending time with his kids.
In Teddi’s divorce post, she explains her “priority is her children,” as she and Edwin navigate their split.
Per Edwin’s IG Stories, it appears he’s focusing on his family, too. The father of three can be seen taking his kids to church and watching football matches with them this fall.
‘Mom and dad look amazing’
Just one week prior to Teddi sharing she’s filed for divorce, she and Edwin’s pal, Tamra, was taking to the couple’s IG comments to say how great they were looking.
As Edwin and Teddi pose together dressed to the nines, Tamra wrote: “Mom and dad look amazing.”
Edwin’s post sees him telling the world how “proud” he is of his wife as she battles melanoma.
The two attended a Cure Melanoma gala which he jokes he “missed a Rams game for.”
As the couple appeared to be staying strong during their 13-year marriage, there are some confused fans in the comments who ask: “How do you go from this to divorce?”
Many other people respond to the comment to say that not everything on social media is “real,” adding how the “divorce news makes them sad.”
