A boat crash sends the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew into a panic this November. The show’s all-new episodes see Gary King suddenly run toward another end of the vessel while another crew member is busy picking up the charter guests from a night on the town.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 trailer already provided a sneak preview of what was to come, with Gary shouting about how a “boat was close” but now, a more in-depth clip of episode 7 sees the terrifying moment play out. During the Bravo show, it’s nighttime aboard the Parsifal III and Gary notices another ship in the distance getting “closer and closer.”
Below Deck crew scrambles as boat gets “closer”
The Below Deck charter guests are often headed for the Parsifal III to take some time out from life’s stresses, get wined and dined, and well and truly put their feet up.
However, things take a very scary turn in Ibiza during season 5 when the yacht begins edging closer and closer to another boat in a clip from Bravo TV.
As Gary King and Danni Warren catch up on deck, their co-star, Keith Allen, is collecting the guests from a night out. Gary quickly notices another boat in the distance and suddenly springs into action.
Gary races to the edge of the Parsifal III and alerts his crew members to “get Glenn,” who was sleeping at the time.
Despite being totally panicked, Gary holds it together and calls for “Emma, too.”
Dramatic music plays as the crew are awakened one by one and Gary shouts: “Hello,” and blows on a whistle attempting to get the attention of the other boat.
Gary has navigated crashes before
The terrifying Below Deck Sailing Yacht moment takes place at night, adding more danger to the equation.
Thankfully, Gary has navigated crashes on the water before, but fans are left not knowing whether the team is able to save the ship this time around.
Emma Crouch is told: “There’s a boat in front of us,” as Gary shouts: “F***” at what he’s seeing.
Gary accidently crashed a tender earlier in season 5. The incident took place at night after a classic “wild party” on the show.
The crew member admits on the show his move “wasn’t cool,” and explains how he hadn’t ever crashed a boat before that time.
