Christine Brown didn’t invite two Sister Wives to ‘fast’ wedding with David Wooley

Christine Brown decided not to invite two of the Sister Wives involved in her former polygamous relationship. She moved on from Kody Brown, who had four wives, when she married David Wooley.

Sister Wives follows the life of a polygamous marriage involving Kody Brown and his four wives. Only one is left – Robyn Brown – as Christine Brown, Meri and Janelle all decided to leave him.

Christine Brown married David ‘fast’

Christine Brown married David Wooley “fast,” according to her kids. Her son, Paedon Brown, was worried about her moving on so quickly, and he wasn’t the only one of her children to fear the worst.

They married in October 2023, almost a year after Meri Brown left Kody. She became Kody’s first wife when they legally married in 1990, before he tied the knot with Robyn Brown.

Before they got engaged, Christine and her boyfriend of one month were deep into wedding planning, touring Utah wedding venues and discussing their oversized guest list on the November 3 episode.

She didn’t invite Meri or Robyn

Christine was “not ready” to be around Meri, Robyn or Kody Brown. “We’ll invite Janelle [Brown] to our wedding, Janelle’s kids,” Christine shared of Janelle and her six children, adding Meri’s son Leon is invited.

Janelle and Christine have been close during their time as Sister Wives and after, as Janelle followed her decision to leave Kody. She announced her separation from him in 2022, months after Christine.

With a minimum of 350 people invited, Christine noted that if she were to really invite all of David and her family members, she’d need to send out 700 invitations. “We have really big families,” she revealed.

“I have six kids but we have 18 kids all together in my family and then David,” Christine added, while David said, “Christine deserves to have a nice, big wedding she never had.”
