When Khloé Kardashian speaks, the world listens. And this January, she’s putting her fame and social media platform to good use in the midst of the wildfires sweeping California.
The reality TV star has been taking to her social media account to raise awareness after the state of California was declared to be in a state of emergency. On January 7, wildfires began sweeping the Pacific Palisades area. CNN reports five people have lost their lives in the fires, and states that it’s the “most destructive fire in LA history.” The fires have left some celebrities without homes, and more having to evacuate.

Khloé was vocal about the wildfires early on
After the devastating wildfires began sweeping the Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas, Travis Barker’s daughter, Alamaba Barker, took to social media to share how she had to evacuate her home.
Also taking to Instagram, Khloé Kardashian shared some words to her Stories in the midst of the fires.
She wrote on her Stories to thank the firefighters for their “selflessness” and “tireless efforts.”
Kardashians star uses her platform for good
As the fires continue to rage across LA, destroying “more than 10,000 acres and is now threatening about 13,000 buildings,” Khloé is taking to socials to spread more awareness for the people risking their lives to save others.
This January she shares footage from the streets and writes: “Absolutely devastating,” on her Stories.
Khloé also writes how she “cannot believe” the images are of the Pacific Palisades, adding “this is so incredibly heartwrenching,” and “my heart is aching for all of Los Angeles.”
The star shares how she “can’t comprehend” what’s happened and also shares Tracy Romulus’ Story on IG to get “protein-based meals” to firefighters.
The post states how the firefighters are “hungry and exhausted” and includes links for people to help out and donate.
