Freddie Powell and Cat Richards almost tied the knot on Love Is Blind UK season 1. But, Freddie decided he couldn’t go through with the marriage at the altar and the two went their separate ways. A year on from filming, Cat recently gave an update on her relationship status. She’s also spilling tea when it comes to Freddie’s dating life.
We don’t know what’s better, the drama on the Love Is Blind UK episodes or the wild aftermath of the show since the reunion dropped. The Netflix dating show sees singles participate in a social experiment that aims to prove that love is blind. If the success rate of season 1 is anything to go by, it seems looks are very important. One of the show’s cast members allegedly hopped right back into modern-day dating apps the day after his wedding.
Love Is Blind UK stars’ ‘Hinge tea’
This summer, the Love Is Blind UK stars sit down with Cosmopolitan UK to catch up following the dating experiment.
When the cast is asked who is most likely to use Love Is Blind on their Hinge profile, they all spill tea in unison and say: “Sam.”
However, that really isn’t the real tea as Cat then drops a bombshell about her marriage.
She tells the cameras: “Freddie was on Hinge the day after the wedding…”
Sabrina Vittoria jumps in: “No, he wasn’t…”
Cat turns to her co-star and tells her: “He was.”
Ollie’s Hinge joke to Freddie
While Cat didn’t give any more details on Freddie’s alleged joining of Hinge, a joke made by another Love Is Blind UK star adds to the rumors some more.
The men also say Sam would be the cast member to use the show on his Hinge profile before they’re asked who has the best interior design taste.
Speaking of his home, Freddie jokes he wanted a “rustic” vibe, adding: “…the doors not being on…you know?”
His co-stars laugh and ask: “Like a barn? Anyone’s welcome.”
But Freddie adds: “The doors are working now.”
Ollie turns to the other participants and jokes: “Yeah, back on Hinge,” while pointing at Freddie.
