Lydia Plath ‘says yes’ to marrying ‘rare gem’ Zac Wyse and they only just made their romance public

The subject of marriage has posed some pretty tough conversations for the Welcome To Plathville family members over the years. TLC star Lydia Plath once sat down with her mom, Kim Plath, to say she was left “questioning everything she’d been taught” when her parents’ split came to light.

Welcome To Plathville stars Kim and Barry went their separate ways. And, back then, Kim pointed out how “human love” and “spiritual love” were two different things. She casts her mind to the future, suggesting Lydia might change her opinion once she meets her husband. Now, the time has finally come for Lydia to set her sights on marriage. And, people want to know more about who her boo is as it seems they’ve not been together that long.

Lydia Plath set to tie the knot

It’s official. Lydia Plath is ready to become a married woman. She once said: “Once a covenant is made, how can you break it?” regarding her parents’ break-up.

She’s now set to walk down the aisle herself, with hubby-to-be Zac Wyse.

In recent weeks, Lydia and her partner have been taking to Instagram to declare their love for one another.

Now, it appears Zac has gotten down on one knee and “she said yes!”

TLC star shares engagement pics

There’s cause for celebration this December as Lydia and Zac share they’re engaged to be married.

The TLC star takes to IG to share some romantic snaps, and writes in the caption:

“A million reasons to say YES to the love of my life! Zac Wyse you’re a gift from the Lord!”

She adds: “You’ve been so patient with me and you’ve led in such a humble and giving way. The way you care for not only me, but for my family, my friends and everyone you come across in such an intentional way is a rare gem to find. And the ways I’ve seen the Lord work in and through our relationship has been such a beautiful experience and I can’t wait to experience that with you forever! I love you so much. And I’m so blessed to call you mine.”

Zac, who writes on Instagram that he’s a “Colorado-based believer,” also shares the same sentiment online.

He says Lydia is “the love of his life,” adding: “You make me better in ways I never knew possible. You push me closer to the Lord every day and I can’t wait to see what else the Lord has in store for us!
I love you so much and I am so excited to spend the rest of our lives together!”

Zac and Lydia only recently went public with their relationship, getting engaged just a month after posting online.

But, it appears he’s fully a part of the family as he thanks the Plath family and everyone else who made the “whole thing possible!”

He adds: “We were able to pull off the most elaborate surprise for her and it really made this day so special for us!”

The two appear to have been making some great memories together in the lead-up to their engagement. Lydia posts photos of a ski trip where she jokingly explains how Zac was her “patient coach.”
