Patricia Altschul relies on her Southern Charm as Octavia Spencer suffers mishap at her house

Patricia Altschul may not be a full-time Southern Charm cast member, but when it comes to her social ranking among the cast, it’s safe to say she’s the Queen bee. From her super luxe Charleston home to her knowledge of all things decorum and etiquette, Patricia is an iconic figure in the Bravo world.

Before rising to fame on Southern Charm, Patricia was known for being a socialite and art collector. Patricia and her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, have appeared on the Bravo show since it first began 10 years ago. She’s no stranger to being in the spotlight and mingling with Hollywood stars, and it looks like Patricia is relying on her Southern Charm to get her through an awkward mishap in her home this fall.

Patricia’s awkward mishap

Per Patricia’s latest Instagram post, she had Hollywood actress Octavia Spencer over to her house this fall.

Although Patricia’s living quarters are nothing short of opulent and extravagant, she’s proving she’s just like the rest of us with her recent snap.

The 83-year-old can be seen wiping Octavia’s trouser leg as the actress looks into the camera lens appearing partially horrified and somewhat entertained by the moment.

Patricia explains what led to the turn of events in her caption: “What not to do… Put your dog with a poopy tail on the sofa next to a famous Hollywood actress.”

Southern Charm star is used to ‘accidents’

Patricia is known for her love of dogs. She’s often been with them on Southern Charm.

The reality TV star is no stranger to the kinds of events she shares this October.

A throwback clip from Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in 2020, sees Patricia confirm some “crazy tasks” her butler was asked to complete during his time working for her.

From baking her banana bread during quarantine to giving Patricia love life advice, and picking up animal droppings in her home, Michael had to do it all.

It seems Patricia is unphased by her pets’ shenanigans as she says: “When you have five dogs, of course, yes, unfortunately, they do have little accidents here and there.”
