RHOBH’s Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK Kemsley, have been taking to social media in recent weeks to share snippets of their son’s health woes. The Bravo stars are parents to son Jagger, 10, and daughter, Phoenix, who is eight years old.
PK and Dorit took to Instagram earlier in the year to announce they were separating. Casting the couple’s marital issues aside, Dorit is now being hailed a “great mom,” by PK and it seems they’re banding together for their kids. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shares an eye-opening update with fans this Halloween on her son’s recent health issues.
Dorit shares an update on Jagger
Six weeks ago, Dorit and PK shared with the world that their 10-year-old son had been hospitalized.
On October 16, PK wrote of Jagger’s illness:”Our little boy Jagger has been unwell for the last few weeks, Mommy and Daddy have been with him in the wonderful @cedarssinai we wanted to publicly thank them and the Drs and Nurses … we are still here, but he’s on the mend … he’s our Rocky … image was caught of him yawning … but I love the shot …”.
Since then, both parents have provided some updates for Bravo fans.
However, Dorit’s latest update gives some scope into what Jagger has really been dealing with.
She explains: “The past month has been very difficult for our family. Jagger had 2 surgeries in under a week for septic hip, had to stay in the hospital nearly 2 weeks, and just when we thought it was all over, we had a setback this week.”
Detailing the health ordeal her young son has been going through, Dorit explains how he was desperate to still enjoy Halloween this fall.
The RHOBH star explains how she’s awe-struck by her child: “Luckily, this incredibly brave, courageous little boy is a fighter (like Rocky, as he would say) and we were able to enjoy Halloween like he desperately wanted to. That made this Halloween extra special for all of us…”
“I’m in awe and so proud of our little munchkin, his strength, positive mindset and can-do attitude he’s maintained through everything he’s been through. Feeling blessed and hopeful that better days lay ahead,” she adds.
Fans and friends of Dorit’s took to the comments to say they “hope” Jagger is “feeling better,” and “staying strong,” following his septic hip surgeries.
