Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke famously haven’t been the best of friends in the past. Although they appeared to have patched things up last year, Sutton is now firing back after Erika claimed she “doesn’t share her life” on camera.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has seen all kinds of drama play out over the years. Everything from Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump’s epic falling out to Dorit Kemsley and PK’s marriage breakdown, people have been along for the ride. Sutton has been bringing her life to the show, too, for the past four years. But, not enough in Erika’s eyes.
Erika Jayne thinks Sutton isn’t bringing her A-game
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills came back with a bang at the end of 2024.
The Bravo show’s continuing to be a hit as newbies are pushed to the forefront including fan fave Bozoma Saint John and ‘friend of’ Jennifer Tilly.
While people are raving about how fabulous it is to have the newbies on board, Erika has a bone to pick with her co-star, Sutton.
Speaking exclusively to ET, Erika said: “I feel as if, if I was able to lay it all out there, then you should be able to, as well… I’d like for Sutton and Garcelle to reveal their lives.”
Sutton has a response for Erika
As Erika pushed for Sutton to lift the lid more on her life, Sutton is now firing back.
Speaking to Decider in December 2024, Sutton defended herself, explaining some really important moments in her life she’s shared on screen.
She explained: “I think that I have given a lot of my life up…”
Adding: “I’ve talked about my dad’s suicide openly and actually for the first time ever, I brought it up with Erika – for the first time with a friend, really. And then to bring it to the audience and to join NAMI as an ambassador to help awareness of suicide survivors. So, that’s a big deal for me, to expose that part of my life.”
Sutton added how she doesn’t “know how much deeper she can go.”
The mother continued on the subject on her kids: “I can’t film with my children or I couldn’t until they were 18, so I can’t do anything about that.”
Plus, she adds how her dating life has been featured on RHOBH.
She continues: “…I can only be my authentic self and I think it’s enough for the audience…”
Despite suggesting her co-star should open up more, Erika said of their friendship: “We’re actually decent. I mean, we text back and forth… I’ve never had a better relationship with Sutton…”
