RHOC stars Shannon Beador, 60, and Alexis Bellino, 47, clash big time during the season 18 episodes. It’s no wonder given that Alexis is dating Shannon’s ex, John Janssen, 61. But, as John and Alexis announce their engagement, Shannon seems pretty unphased as she “slays all day” with her gal pals.
It’s no secret that Shannon Beador has been through a lot during her time on The Real Housewives of Orange County. When the mom of three joined the Bravo show, she was married to David Beador before the couple’s relationship broke down on screen some years later. Shannon’s ups and downs have been documented on the series, but this year could take the crown for her reaching breaking point.
John and Alexis are engaged
Around a month ago, reports circulated that John Janssen and Alexis Bellino were engagement ring shopping.
Turns out it wasn’t all for nothing as John reportedly got down on one knee and popped the question this summer.
After nine months of dating, People exclusively confirms John and Alexis are now engaged. Alexis said “yes” on August 27, 2024.
Speaking to Us Weekly in July this year, Shannon’s co-star, Jennifer Pedranti, said she’s “spent time” around Alexis and John and believes the two are “in love and on the fast track to forever, truly.”
The couple’s engagement comes as RHOC episodes are still showing the fallout of John’s break-up with Shannon.
The Bravo star sobs at breakfast to her friends over the ongoing legal disputes with John.
But, in present-day it seems Shannon is doing well as she takes to Instagram to share she’s hanging out with friends and family and “slaying” while doing so.

Shannon’s Instagram posts over the past few weeks see fellow Bravo stars sharing words of support in the comments.
The Real Housewives of Miami’s Alexia Nepola writes: “Stay strong,” on a recent post, while Bravo TV says Shannon is “slaying.”
The dog mom to beloved Bravo pup Archie writes: “What a fun day!!! Met @ginakirschenheiter and @rhoc_emilysimpson for a late lunch and then had an impromptu later lunch with @heatherdubrow and @jennifer.pedranti! A pretty great Friday!!!”
By the looks of things, Shannon is enjoying her life at 60 and is spending time having fun with her friends and family.
Another post sees her sending love to co-star Vicki Gunvalson after Vicki revealed she had a “near-death experience” this summer.
By the looks of things, Shannon is doing great amid her ex’s engagement news.
Speaking to Us Weekly this August, Emily Simpson says if she was Shannon, she “probably wouldn’t have come back” to RHOC this season and gives her co-star “a lot of props.”
Emily says: “It takes someone really strong to be able to deal with all the things she’s had to deal with.”
