Dolores Catania declares she’s on a self-care journey these days. Fans have seen the Real Housewives of New Jersey star in various phases of her life including the time she was “scared to death” over a biopsy, and her co-parenting journey with Frank Catania Sr.
Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Dolores is a tough cookie and she details how her mom once thought she’s “died of a broken heart,” at one point in her life. Now, she’s putting her self-care first and says she’s opted for a procedure to combat a unique “insecurity.”
Dolores’ list of surgeries
It’s no secret RHONJ star Dolores finds it hard to be vulnerable.
She may have some difficulty in opening up in her love life and expressing her feelings and fears, but there’s one thing she’s an open book about, and that’s the cosmetic procedures she’s opted for.
Speaking to Bravo TV, Dolores reveals “from the top down” what tweaks she’s opted for: “Hair extensions, Botox, I’ve had my eyes done, a facelift, lip filler sometimes, a lower facelift…”
The Bravo star adds how there’s only one doctor she allows to touch her face, before adding she’s also gone under the knife for a “boob job, liposuction,” and she “had her butt done.”
Dolores specifies how she hasn’t had “implants” in her “butt,” she clarifies: “I’ve had a little lift,” detailing a fat transfer to her butt.
She also says she’s not stopping there as she unveils more work is on the cards: “From the waist down I’m doing some things, like my legs and stuff, and while he’s down there… we’ll see.”
Speaking of her surgeries, Dolores doesn’t regret any of the procedures she’s opted for. But, she does shed some light on the reality of nips and tucks: “When you wake up from a procedure, you wish you were dead sometimes.”
“But, it’s always worth it,” she adds.
Dolores’ ‘infamous tummy tuck’
As well as the surgeries Dolores outlined, she adds how she also opted for an “infamous tummy tuck.”
She explains: “I saved it because it’s a rough recovery, but it was so worth it. My stomach is tight as a drum.”
At the time, the tummy tuck caused a lot of issues for herself and her boyfriend, David. He wasn’t keen on her getting the surgery: “David did everything, he showered me. He took care of me, but he hated my guts.”
Now, Dolores shares how she’s opting for another cosmetic procedure this fall, to continue her “self-care journey.”
Taking to Instagram, she says: “As you know, self-care and confidence-building is part of who I am… adding how she’s opting for a “simple one-time treatment” which sees a doctor go under her skin with a “Renuvion wand to target collagen-rich tissues which will pull her skin closer to the muscle.”
Speaking of her wellness journey, Dolores shares she’s partnering with Renuvion.
The company uses “technology to work with loose skin.”
Dolores is having the loose skin around her knees tightened which she shares is something she felt insecure about.
