The Real Housewives of New York City’s original cast members are legendary, to say the least. Since the show got a reboot last year, the vibe has totally been refreshed and fans are loving seeing Jenna Lyons, Sai De Silva, and co do their thing. However, when it comes to Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley’s era, Bravo lovers will likely always have a soft spot.
It turns out the feeling is mutual for Dorinda Medley as she explains how she “cried her eyes out” when her time on The Real Housewives of New York City came to an end. These days, the Bravo star stays in the spotlight as she hosts a SiriusXM radio show, Reality Checked.
Dorinda Medley ‘cried her eyes out’
Promoting Words With Friends this November, Bravolebrity Dorinda shared with Us Weekly how she “cried her eyes out” when her time on RHONY came to an end.
Speaking of the moment four years ago, she said she was super upset, adding: “I’m not gonna lie. I’m not one of these people that made a statement that said I decided to take some [time off]. I don’t wanna go.”
Dorinda spent six years as a RHONY cast member before being so iconic she was cast for two Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip seasons.
These days, she still remains a Real Housewives icon and fans are always interested in the latest goings-on at her fabulous Bluestone Manor.
Dorinda is ‘open to all opportunities’
As Dorinda sheds some light on her feelings around RHONY as fans knew it coming to an end, she looks to the future.
“Let the gods at Bravo decide. And we’re here, a telephone call away,” the 59-year-old explains.
When asked whether she’d ever return to a Real Housewives show at a meet and greet, Dorinda explains her stance: “Listen, I’m open to all opportunities.”
For now, she’s promoting Words With Friends with fellow Bravo star Dorit Kemsley of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
