Owning Manhattan star Ryan Serhant is being urged to advise Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim on how to be the “best boss” in Netflix real estate, after they were spotted at a boxing match together.
Ryan Serhant and Jason Oppenheim are both famed for real estate. Selling Sunset is where it all began for the Oppenheim Group co-owner, but Ryan Serhant became famous on Million Dollar Listing LA.
Ryan Serhant hailed ‘best boss’ on Netflix
Ryan Serhant may have spent a lot less time on Netflix fame, but he’s already being hailed the “best boss”. Jason launched to fame for The Oppenheim Group in 2019, while Owning Manhattan aired in 2024.
A Reddit thread has been launched, discussing the clear competition between the two real estate moguls. One fan wrote, “Hopefully Oppenheim is being mentored on how to do his job properly!”
Another penned, “I hope Jason got plenty of tips about being an actually decent boss 👍.” The majority are on Serhant’s side, with a fan writing, “Ryan wins in every aspect! Love him ❤️.”
Jason Oppenheim and Serhant attend fight
Jason and Serhant were invited to Netflix’s first-ever live boxing match involving Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. Other cast members across the platform also attended, such as Love is Blind‘s Lauren.
Serhant joked that they were having “the match everyone came for,” as they’re both succeeding – and clear competitors – in the Los Angeles real estate industry, but they’re really just friendly.
Back in June, Chrishell Stause‘s public support for Serhant had fans convinced she was shading her boss. She jokily wrote how they “need his leadership skills over on the west coast”.
