The Voice judge LeAnn Rimes exhausted over UK and Australia shows

LeAnn Rimes has been left exhausted after being selected as coach for two international seasons of The Voice – at the same time!

Season 13 of The Voice UK is about to premiere on August 31 and we’ve just been treated to a glimpse of the coach line up. On August 23 The Voice UK released a video of the coaches performing a cover of Miley Cyrus’ Midnight Sky to YouTube. Fans were thrilled to see familiar faces returning to their screens, but a little surprised to see LeAnn Rimes joining the line-up, especially seeing as she’s currently filming for The Voice Australia.

LeAnn Rimes is doubling up on her coaching on two international versions of The Voice. The Voice UK and The Voice Australia are both premiering in August 2024, both in their thirteenth seasons. How is the former ‘coyote’ keeping up with all this?

“What an honor and rare opportunity it is to be asked to coach on both, The Voice Australia and The Voice UK,” Rimes said

“I’m looking forward to discovering new voices across these nations, mentoring the next generation of talent and sharing my heart, not only with these gifted vocalists, but with the Australian and UK fans.” The country singer continued.

It seems the Grammy-winner couldn’t choose which country to share her love with and decided to go ahead with both, stating, “I have experienced so much love from both countries throughout my career and I look forward to deepening that connection during my time on The Voice.”

Rimes will join the UK coaching panel on ITV made up of legendary rapper will.i.am, crooning pussycat Tom Jones and former boy band McFly members Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher.

In Australia, she will share the stage with solo star Adam Lambert, singer Kate Miller-Heidke and returning coach Believer singer Guy Sebastian.

‘This schedule is one of the most challenging things I have ever done’

While the public are impressed by LeAnn’s dedicated work ethic, it’s not all smooth sailing for the singer.

On her Instagram stories, Rimes posted a photo of her lying in bed, hand covering one eye, as a patch of sunlight shines on her face.

She has captioned the photo, “Can’t move! Not gonna lie, this schedule is one of the most challenging things I have ever done.”

Though LeAnn was sure to add that she has no regrets over choosing to do both shows saying, “I AM having an absolute blast, AND I am being challenged on every level,”

The 42-year-old also revealed that Yoga Nidra, a type of yoga meditation that focuses on and promotes deep relaxation, is helping her maintain her Zen between the chaos.

“Yoga Nidra is helping me to get some moments of rest in between sleep,” she continued.

This dual role comes shortly after the I Need You Singer closed out her 2023 with a holiday tour. The tour made stops across the US in Las Vegas, Nashville and Orlando, amongst other cities. Additionally, November 2023 saw the release of God’s Work (Resurrected), an extended version of the 2022 God’s Work. Just, wow.

Seems the singer will have to continue to ‘fight the moonlight’ as she presses on with this hectic coaching schedule. Fans in both countries can’t wait to see her on their screens.
