Britani Bateman and Bronwyn Newport were both cast as newbies for RHOSLC season 5 this year. While Bronwyn joined as a full Housewife, Britani appears on the show as a “friend of” Heather Gay. The ladies have certainly settled into their reality TV careers, but they seemingly have beef over their previous jobs.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City have really come into their own this year. Season 5 has been filled with dramatic moments. From Mary Cosby letting the cameras in on some emotional times in her life to Angie Katsanevas coining new insults, people have been living for the gossip.
Britani throws major shade Bronwyn’s way
Britani and Bronwyn not being pals is no secret, but since season 5 wrapped, the two are beefing away from the cameras.
Speaking to Broadway World this December, Britani addressed the rumors around her Broadway career, and at the same time, threw some major shade Bronwyn’s way.
According to Bronwyn, Britani’s claims of being on Broadway aren’t 100% true, reports Bravo.
But, Britani is still sticking to her guns, and is defending her career.
Britani fires back after Bronwyn’s remarks
Not only are Britani and Bronwyn spatting over who did Broadway and who didn’t, but Lisa Barlow’s also been thrown into the mix.
She responded to Britani telling her that Bronwyn admitting she knows she did Broadway: “That’s, like, a lie because she’s vehement with me that you never did.”
At the time, Britani suggested: “Bronwyn lies.”
Now, in a recent interview she also says of her co-star: “I think Bronwyn wishes that I hadn’t done Broadway because that lends herself more credibility. She has a tendency to just lead with lies and say whatever anyone wants to hear who’s in front of her…
Britani savagely adds: “She claims now that she contributes to Broadway shows as a producer. I think that she wishes she had my talent because anyone can spend their sugar daddy’s money on a Broadway show. What she can’t do is do what I do and be on stage.”
In response to Britani throwing shade, people are seemingly here for it.
One person tweets: “Oh she cleared with this one.”
Another says: “Britani said, ‘Sugar daddy money can buy a Broadway credit, but not stage talent.’ That’s a read with an encore, and I am standing ovation READY. Someone give this girl a Tony for best shade!”
